Even though I love the Kingdom Hearts series and it’s music, they all have one sound that drives me crazy; the low HP sound.
You can be anywhere enjoying the background music while killing enemies, but when you suddenly fall below the low hp threshold you wanna pop that potion or cast cure as soon as possible. The visual feedback really is enough to notify the player, that annoying sound is not necessary.
In this video the player tries to challange himself by defeating a tough boss without healing. When his health drops a lot at 3:25, he faces an even tougher challenge, the low hp sound.
