Description: while not to bad considering the age of the game I find this one of the weirdest pieces of music in the game
The background consists of a heartbeat, or actually the engine of the ship your on. Except that you're on a sunken ship, one that had been lying on the bottom of the sea for quite some while, why would the engine be on.
There is also sound of metals clashing, water drops leaking and the voosh of a fan, all which make a bit more sense, but are still accompanied by the ever present heartbeat.

Perhaps the heartbeat is there to represent that the ship is still kind of alive even though it has sunk?…
What I find much more ugly about Tomb Raider 2 sound is the way every time Lara picks up an item of interest it’s the same god damn \a-ha\ vocal line, didn’t seem to be any variation at all!
I used to love this game though and it was 12 years ago so I guess I can just about see past the flaws.
