This is an intro scene from Quake IV. The sounds of the protagonist are really repetitive and there’s a really weird hallway/bathroom reverb on it, even though scenery and rooms change. The repetition of the protagonist yells creates the feeling that this part of the game wasn’t designed well.
They could have recorded at least 4 different yelling, screaming or agony sounds to the scene. That would have made the scene more believable.
