Description: At daytime you hear bird sounds in the background. Now that's weird, considering there aren't any birdtype Digimon in the area.

When you navigate through the menu you hear a certain beep sound, now this sound isn't that disturbing, but when you are battling and give a lot of comments after another, it sounds really annoying.

They probably wanted it to sound all 'digital' since it's 'Digimon', but it sounds disturbing, rather than cool.

The main character also talks in Japanese towards his character,and I, as a player, don't have any problem with that, but I wonder if it's disturbing towards those, that don't understand these Japanese words.

The Wind Waker

Game Title: Legend of Zelda : The Wind Waker

Description: The key, cave, Link's weapons,the violin, the sand, and etc. all sound realistic.

When you enter the room,the soundtrack that starts playing sounds ominous, which is a good way to introduce a boss.

Molgera makes a believable sound for a giant earthsnake, and the exotic sound of the song, also fits with Molgera and the dessert environment.

The soundtrack is uptempo, which is always good for battles, because it makes the song more lively, and the player more energetic.

There's also small variation in the song as the song continues, which keeps it still interesting to listen to.

In professional fighting sports, the fighter makes noise to make an attack sound intense, and that same way Link's sound makes his attacks sound more intense.

I can go on, and on, but I think I made my point pretty clear now.

Btw Molgera's soundtrack is really addicting in my opinion, it's also the only boss theme that always stayed stuck in my head.

World At War Gameplay

Description: Grenade explosions are way too soft, never heard one for real but I imagine them to make a bit more noise. At around 4:37 into the movie, some character interrupts itself a few times to immediately utter a few words from another sentence. Immersion breaking. Around the same time the player exits the area, the sound of battle fades away almost immediately. You'd expect to hear the mayham the player left behind for at least a mile or two into the jungle. .

Left 4 Dead

Description: In dit teamspel moet je overleven tijdens een zombie epidimie. Het spel bevat hele lichte muziek, die nauwlijks opvalt tijdens het spelen, maar toch onder je huid gaat zitten. Geluiden zijn erg functioneel, elk type zombie heeft een eigen geluid, en vaak hoor je diegene al aankomen. Je blijft dus echt gefoccused op het geluid om je heen. Normale zombies moanen (zoals elke klassieke zombie), maar de sound bytes zijn heel gevarieerd. Ik ontdek elke keer weer een ander gruwelijk geluid.

Het geluid van de geweren voelt goed. Geweerschoten moeten de juiste oemph hebben, en dat is helemaal het geval.

Je teamgenoten geven automatisch aan wanneer ze gewond zijn, of als ze wapens hebben gevonden. De zinnen zijn kort, en functioneel, maar weten toch een groepsgevoel op te wekken tussen de personages.

Hedgehog Launch

Description: Well, there's the upgrade menu song that's really terrible and annoying, especially when you are having a lack of money, still pissed of your bad last round and then hear this happy song. When the game starts, you get the rock song which is cool… when you're going fast and doing great. But that's almost never the case. The sound which occurs when you hit one of those bars makes no sense, the sound of your rockets is sonething you can barely hear. And then there's the score window which also gives you a happy feeling even when your score ain't that happy.

Frustrating, in the end. .

Resident evil

Description: Well this is a classic. And a good one at it.

Unfortunately the audio in this game is one of the worst ever.
Especially the voice acting is horrible.
It's all very staccato and extremely dull.
As if the voice actors we're half asleep and trying to overact at the same time.
Capcom has come a long way, but the voice acting still ain't very good.
