Description: When you play fable 2 you often visit towns. When you enter a town all citizens will start to interact with you. When a lot of people are standing around you this means that you hear a lot of sound. If there are only two characters talking to you this is fine, but it gets insane when the ENTIRE town will start to talk to you. This creates one big blurry sound and you are unable to listen to the conversation with for example your family. You can't make the people stop talking unless you run away from them. Really stupid!

Description: This entry probably comes forth from personal taste. The BGM of this game soothes me while I play and keeps me from getting frustrated with the puzzles I need to solve. It's a clear, consistent tune that sets a mood and adds to the visual design, or at least clearly aims to do so. I've played it without sound and it instantly became a lot less fun to me, boring even.

Interaction with the world in terms of gaining objects, damage and more is worked out decently.

One of the most special audio features, of course, is the music you hear when you go back in time. The rewinding sound strengthens the experience rather then sounding horribly distorted, something which could have been an easy pitfall. .

Description: Although the game is nice and even the audio and voice acting, there's just one things that won't stop bothering me.

The voice of Altaïr is a very standard white male American voice. Eventhough he clearly is not.

It get's explained in the story, somewhere, I believe. But didn't find a very solid reason for Altaïr to have such a American voice between all the very realistic voices of foreigners. .

Game Title: Go Beryllium!

Description: At first sight (hearing?) the upbeat, bass-like tunes of this game seem to match the overall feel the game probably wants to portray. To me, the firing of bullets alone creates a drumming sound that makes you feel active and pumped up in the midst of the chaotic swarms you create.

However, to me the audio wasn't designed as thoroughly as could be. It doesn't empower the gameplay, in the sense that the feedback on your actions is extremely minimal.

Visually, it's very difficult to see when you gain damage or get boosted and therefore aknowledgments on doing wrong and right in the audio would have been pleasant. It would probably prevent a lot of new players to fail almost instantly. Now, you just think you'll be fine and move on, only to suddenly die moments later.

Description: This is one of few games where I really noticed the audio. Not only does it have a beautiful soundtrack, but the game handles its sound really good.

When you're walking or riding around in the world there is no music. Only the sounds of nature can be heard. Chirping birds, wind, the hooves on the ground etc.

When you come close to a Colossus the music begins. Within the battle in varies between eerie music and really intensive battle music. .

Description: After browsing around, I found this game.

I have never ever played this game, and by the looks of it, I wouldn't recommend it, not even to my 8 year old brother which I don't have, unless he's annoying.

When the gameplay starts, just listen to the parrot who's giving you hints on what to do. He repeats every hint multiple times with the most annoying intonation.

When you accidentally jump with your dinosaur in the water, and you have to restart the entire level, the last thing you want to hear after you've missed your jump is: "Stay out the water!"

The music (especially in the second level) gives my a headache. .

When you fly through blades of grass you can hear them passing by giving you a sense of speed that exhilarates the experience and emerges the player. .

Description: I think Uncharted did a great job by giving this game the feel of an interactive movie, but I also appreciate the soundtrack that comes along with it.

This game features a lot of cut-scenes, with voice acting that really fits the characters.

The sounds of the environment really compliment to the realistically rendered jungle environments, actually giving you the hot, moist jungle atmosphere.

For the music in the game, a lot of unusual, ancient and etnic instruments were used to give this game unique, exciting and authentic game music.

There is also the possibilty to change the voice overs of the characters to a variety of languages, including Dutch.

Game sounds like explosions and guns etc. sound like you expect them to sound. .
