The HUD, the doors, the voice acting and the environments in general. There are just so many little details in the sounds everywhere around you. scraping metal sounds, the groaning of the ship you're in, aliens scuttling around above your head… The sound totally emerges you in the experience and makes you look over your shoulder in fear that something will jump at you.

The music is also exceptionally good and effective. No real compositions but more like sound effects themselves for even more added suspense.
