Description: For a blob, Gish doesn't make a lot of noise. The times that he does, they are unconvincing, bland and repetative. The mediocre soundtrack doesn't make up for much either. .

Description: Whenever a "disaster" occurs in the game a loud overwhelming sound plays even if the disaster doesn't threaten you directly. When the disaster is no longer on your screen the sound fades away but as soon as you go near it with your FoV you hear the sound again. Also it plays so loud you can hardly hear the other sounds that effect you directly. .

Description: The sounds that the enemies make are not fitting to their character. The music playing in the background is..not enough in the background. It is merely working on my nerves and not providing a 'relaxed' game experience. The gun sounds are cheap, they sound dull.

Description: This is more a case of bad audio DESIGN than bad audio per sé. In Freelancer you can travel from planet to planet, and enter bars to find quests. These bars are usually populated by 4 or 5 questgivers, who represent different factions.

The problem is that they all say the same thing over and over again, often even using the same sound file, making everyone sound the same – even on just one planet, let alone the other 20. The above is a recording of a particularly bad spree where the main character even utters the exact same randomly triggered response to the same questions three times in a row. .

Description: The sound of this game is not only horrible but also very repetitive. After playing this for more than 10 minutes you won't be able to get it out of your head. And believe me, you don't want it there! .

Game Title: Bloody Roar – Primal Fury

Description: This is definitely an example of Ugly audio. Why? Well the main problem is that it's terribly irritating. All the background music is terrible Japanese Arcade Rock. I suppose it adds to the whole arcady feel the game has going but it doesn't help me want to play it for longer than absolutely necessary.

Also all the characters have voice clips attached to each attack. This is something you'll see in most fighting games but as this is pretty much a button masher you'll be hearing a lot of "ai ai ai ai ai etc." .
