Description: The actual game audio of Daikatana isn't great (listen to the awful teleporter hum, and the overly looped 'machine'), but the voice acting is horrendous. This is partly the fault of the dialogue, which borders on the cheesy, but mostly the voice actors are very stale and uninspiring. (say 'Let's rock!' like you mean it!) .

Description: I still don’t know what i must think of this game audio. It’s to generic. It’s doesn’t contribute to the gameplay and doesn’t set a setting or feeling. It’s just there making noise. Its just annoying. I wish they had put some more attention to the music because you arer not doing anything in this game. So some good music would be nice. .

Description: Could have been so much more, controls not working properly and no multiplayer! Music sounds too calm, never really pumps you up with adrenaline even when you're attacking. Doesnt really add anything but making you feel distant from the game. .

Description: The audio overall is hectic and constantly changing depending on how far you're zoomed in.

The alien voices are often too high pitched and keep saying the exact same thing over and over again, causing me to turn it off in the options menu.

Other audio effects are too intrusive and keep repeating themselves, like the radar or scanner sound effects. .

Game Title: Conker

Description: Yes, you read it right; this clip includes both bad and good videogame sounds… or… so I think at least. The game is Conker's Bad Fur-Day for the N64 (so not the remake on Xbox!) and just for the record, it's an awesome game.

The good part of the audio is the voices on their own (except the haystacks) they fit with the characters perfectly and the voice-acting on it's own is brilliant.

The bad part is the voice of the haystacks (small and big) they are really rediculous like some guy is lowering his voice to sound tough but failing at it. Something else to note about the voice-acting is that it sounds as if it's recorded with a cheap headset or something.

Other bad part is the sound effects, at least in this clip. The repetitive 'splash'-sound from the paint is rather annoying, also the sounds used for the door closing (and bar blocking it) are kind of… bad… .

Game Title: Fifa 99 or how to use last year's hits

Description: Fifa 99 (or just every fifa game). Godawful the way EA just chooses the hits from the last half year, fill it up with some sleeper hits and call it a soundtrack. Yeah that's EA sounddesign for ya… .

Description: The music this game has is pretty obnoxious. It is not constant, and when there is music the music is anoying, obnoxious and short too. Some are also really depressing.

In short, they are not amusing. .

Description: First of all, i don't want to offend the game , CUZ IT'S GREAT:D my favorite RTS:D

but…i played the dutch version of Dungeon Keeper once….. it detroyed the whole experience for me. The voice acting is very silly..you can't take the game serious anymore when you hear it. you should have a peak at the clip i attached…and laugh with me..(when you are dutch) .

Game Title: Fifa 2006

Description: It’s an example of the bad commentary system within this game. The commentator is still speaking about the referee getting ready for the match, while they are already playing for about 4 minutes (Fifa playtime). At the 5th minute it said “And here is the kick off”.
This is a technical aspect of the audio, but next to that the sound itself is very static and emotionless. An important aspect of football commentary is the dynamic and expressive sound, which Fifa messed up bigtime. .
