Game Title: Fifa 99 or how to use last year's hits
Your name: Marc De Vreede
Pretty or ugly: Ugly
Description: Fifa 99 (or just every fifa game). Godawful the way EA just chooses the hits from the last half year, fill it up with some sleeper hits and call it a soundtrack. Yeah that's EA sounddesign for ya… .

Game Title: Loco Roco
Your name: Marc De Vreede

Description: Soundtrack of Loco Roco.
I have never played a videogame that captured the whole vibe of the game so well in it's music. It just makes you want to play some more, while at the same time making me feel happy! .

Game Title: SimCity 2k
Your name: Daan Boon

Description: The music this game has is pretty obnoxious. It is not constant, and when there is music the music is anoying, obnoxious and short too. Some are also really depressing.
In short, they are not amusing. .

Game Title: Dungeon Keeper
Your name: Tim Remmers
Pretty or ugly: Ugly
Description: First of all, i don't want to offend the game , CUZ IT'S GREAT:D my favorite RTS:D
but…i played the dutch version of Dungeon Keeper once….. it detroyed the whole experience for me. The voice acting is very silly..you can't take the game serious anymore when you hear it. you should have a peak at the clip i attached…and laugh with me..(when you are dutch) .

Game Title: World of Warcraft
Your name: Tim Remmers
Pretty or ugly: Pretty ^^
Description: I recorded this little part from world of warcraft to show you that this game audio fits the world perfectly. In every part of the world you explore in the game there's one kinda style all the time for the music. But everytime it's a bit different. In this example the difference between the music types are quite obvious. outside the the "howling fjord" and inside the cozy tavern.
Btw sorry for killing the turkey XD. The sounds of the spells you cast are very realistic to me too. although i dont know, how an arcane blast should sound:P. You can hear that the sounds are very balanced, otherwise you would go nuts when you're in a battle and everybody starts casting spells that clash with the sounds of other spells. .

Game Title: Fifa 2006
Your name: Björn Spies
Pretty or ugly: Ugly
Description: It’s an example of the bad commentary system within this game. The commentator is still speaking about the referee getting ready for the match, while they are already playing for about 4 minutes (Fifa playtime). At the 5th minute it said “And here is the kick off”.
This is a technical aspect of the audio, but next to that the sound itself is very static and emotionless. An important aspect of football commentary is the dynamic and expressive sound, which Fifa messed up bigtime. .

And the voice acting is also very crap.
